This is so overdue. As we made it through Thanksgiving and head into the holidays, I’m feeling incredibly grateful for everything Bob and I have learned from Kim this year.

We have a busy social life, and Thanksgiving brought all the usual fun—extra side dishes, desserts, and yes, a few extra pounds. But here’s the difference: we knew exactly what to do.

We went right back to the core basics—turkey roll-ups, chicken ginger soup, drinking our water, sticking to three meals a day with no snacks (goodbye pumpkin pie!), and adding in some weight training.

And just like that, we’re back on track.

The funny thing is, our bodies respond like, “Okay… we’re back home again. We know how to do this.”
